This arrangement suits Community Groups who want to bring the Internet to their Area or Village. They may need a Social Access Link to connect their local School to the Internet for example.
Typically Social Access Links are structured to make a small profit, which WetinBe insists must be reinvested in other social projects in the community.
Profits are often used to subsidise school use of the Internet for educational purposes, or to develop an online shop for local people to sell their products.
It is expected that a Social Access Link will probably need to employ one person on a part time basis to administer the equipment and carry out training. Technical understanding of the hardware is not required as WetinBe engineers do this for the Community.
Often it is appropriate that the Part Time Administrator is a local teacher, or person interested in the Internet. Please Click Here for further details.
